Why oh why the boys didn't release a live album after the hugely successful 'Dr. Feelgood', or 'Girls, Girls Girls' tours I will never know, It would have sold millions. Well never mind we finally have one now.
This two CD package consists of live performances from throughout the bands career (82'-99'). The first disc is my favourite because the overall sound is more rawer and intense and this is probably due to it being made up of early recordings, with the exception of 'Ten Seconds to Love'. The performances stray very little from the originals, but the bands audience interaction is good. Top tracks include 'Looks that Kill', 'Knock 'em Dead, Kid', 'Live Wire', 'Shout at the Devil' and 'Helter Skelter'.
Disc Two is made up of mainly later recordings that don't quite capture the raw kick that the early ones do, there are however some nice performances, notably 'Wild Side', 'Girls, Girls, Girls,' and 'Primal Scream'.
All told a nice collection of live songs from the bad boys of rock, one blemish however is the overall production of the album, it feels a little flat to me, especially compared to other currently released live albums. This is however made up for by the seamless flow between songs, particularly taking into account they were recorded from different shows at different years.
