Formed in 69' by 'Phil Mogg', 'Mick Bolton', 'Pete Way' and 'Andy Parker' and released their self titled debut in 71'. 'Bolton' left in 74' and was replaced by 'Scorpions' guitarist 'Michael Schenker', his introduction upped the tempo of the group from Rock come 'Prog Rock' to more mainstream 'Hard Rock'. After cutting some influential albums throughout the seventies including the sensational live album 'Strangers in the Night', 'Schenker' left to rejoin the 'Scorpions', and later his own creation 'The Michael Schenker Group'. The new line-up now featuring guitarist 'Paul Chapman' failed to continue the earlier success and 'Pete Way' quit. 83' saw the group disband only to reform again in 85' for the ill received 'Misdemeanor' and again they called it a day. 93' heralded a reunion of the classic line-up that are still recording and touring today despite 'Michael Schenker' departing again in 03'. 2004's 'You are Here' features new guitarist 'Vinnie Moore' and welcomes back 'Paul Raymond' and introduced 'Jason Bonham' on drums, although his later departure to 'Foreigner' brought back original drummer 'Andy Parker' for 2006's 'The Monkey Puzzle'.
