While a fairly short lived group the 'Tygers of Pan Tang' were considered one of the early leaders of the NWOBHM scene. After a decent but rough and ready debut, the lineup was changed, in came a new vocalist and guitarist 'John Sykes' to recorded their most popular album 'Spellbound'. This lineup was short lived and following the mixed reactions to their next release 'Crazy Nights', 'Sykes' left and following the next album the pretty abysmal 'Caged', the band appeared to disintegrate, despite a couple of albums in the mid 80's.
