Early leaders in the 'US Glam' scene, fronted by vocal powerhouse and enigmatic frontman 'Dee Snider' generated considerable success with a run of excellent albums in the early to mid 80's. Regrettable the commercial attraction got to much and the group became a parody of their former selves. 87's unsuccessful 'Love is for Suckers' spelt the end for 'Twisted Sister' and the group disbanded shortly after, rumours of a reunion are rife but as yet has not occurred.
