One of the founders of the 'New Wave Of British Heavy Metal' genre, released some cracking early 80's material, but failed to capitalise on their early success. A series of average albums dwindled any chance of seriously breaking into the US market, and the band turned to making a succession of commercial sounding records in an attempting to win new fans. Reaching their lowest ebb in the early 90's, decided to drop their charade and return to their roots and started cutting some excellent 'British Metal', beginning with 95's 'Dogs of War'. Several great albums later, they are once again one of the UK's best veteran metal acts.
