Founded by brothers 'Mark' and 'John Gallagher' along with drummer 'Rob 'Wacko' Hunter' and played a large part in the 'New Wave of British Heavy Metal' scene, their first three releases 'Rock Until You Drop', 'Wiped Out' and 'All for One' are regarded as classics of the genre. After signing to 'Atlantic Records' in 85' 'Raven' started to turnout a more commercial style, which was not very well received and their popularity started to declined. They returned to their roots, starting with the '87's 'Lifes a Bitch' but by then it was too late and 'Raven' never received the recognition many, including myself think they deserved. Still going today but with 'Joe Hasselvander' on drums.
