'Blue Murder' was formed by guitarist 'John Sykes' after stints with 'Tygers of Pan Tang' and 'Thin Lizzy', but was perhaps best known from his time with 'Whitesnake'. A disagreement with 'David Coverdale', cause 'John' to leave and form his own group with former 'The Firm' bassist 'Tony Franklin' and well travelled drummer 'Carmine Appice'. The band cut three albums before going their separate ways in 94'.
