Mötley Crüe

Probably the first and best known 'Hair Metal' band. A run of great albums, off stage antics that headlined newspapers and a superb live show made 'Mötley Crüe' one of the most popular 80's groups around. With a blend of pounding metal and killer ballads they could do no wrong. Internals disputes lead to lead singer 'Vince Neil' being sacked, his replacement John Corabi' was not met with open arms by fans and their 94' release 'Mötley Crüe' was a flop compared to previous efforts. 'Vince Neil' returned for 'Generation Swine' but by now trends had changed and this album faired little better. The 2000 release of 'New Tattoo' however was a return to their Metal roots, but the sad loss of 'Randy Castillo' and further internal disputes has all but spelt the end of these legendary bad boys or has it? another reunion is currently being reported however.
