American Hard Rock / Metal legends. Set the trend for over-the-top stage antics, with elaborate costumes, makeup and 'Alice Cooper' style theatrics, with masses of merchandise to boot they quickly became a huge hit with the youth. Kiss enjoyed a healthy run of success in the mid to late 70's with most albums going platinum. In 1980 drummer 'Peter Criss' left when the popularity of the band started to decline and the following year guitarist Ace Frehley left. They were replaced with 'Eric Carr' and 'Vinnie Vincent' and following Kiss's comeback album 'Creatures of the Night', they release 'Lick it Up' where for the first time they were seen without their trademark makeup. 'Vinnie Vincent' left in 84' and was replace by 'Mark St. John' and later 'Bruce Kulick', 'Eric Carr' sadly died in 91' and 'Eric Singer' took over the drumming slot. The original line-up reunited in 96' for a farewell tour, but are still performing with the exception of 'Peter Criss' who left again in 01'.
