Dokken

Top notch 80's Hair Metal group formed in Germany by drummer 'Mick Brown', guitarist 'George Lynch' and Vocalist 'Don Dokken'. A string of great albums elevated them to one of the foremost Metal bands, but inner group tensions between 'George Lynch' and 'Don Dokken' caused the band to split in 88'. The changing face of Metal didn't welcome the reformed 'Dokken's' 95' and 97's releases with open arms and George Lynch quit again in 98'. His replacement was 'Winger's' 'Reb Beach' for 99's release 'Erase the Slate'. More recent news is that he and long term bassist Jeff Pilson have also left. Replacements are bassist 'Barry Sparks' and former 'Europe' guitarist 'John Norum' who has since been replaced by 'Jon Levin'.
